Quilted-top table
African padauk is a very interesting wood. When freshly cut, it's lurid orange. As it ages, it darkens into a dark brown color that I think is very nice. I've used African padauk with both maple and cherry. It's beautiful with both. This small lamp table is 15" square and 24" tall. The top is quilted maple.
