Mahogany & birdseye maple trestle table
This table is a variation on a theme. I have made numerous trestle "hall" tables that have reversed taper end panels. Materials and details vary. This version has a lower shelf and twin upper aprons connected together by a dovetail key. The top is a stunning piece of birdseye maple that was specifically requested by my client. The end panels and the shelf have 1/4" square inlays of ebony.
