Mikell's bureau
The bedroom bureau is the largest piece I have made. It's 78" long and 32" high. The sliding doors on the bottom are made with handmade paper behind a small grid of Alaskan yellow cedar. The top beveled edge combined with the reversed tapered leg and shoji style doors gives the design a strong Japanese feel. The picture is awful, but I am very pleased with the way the piece turned out.
