My furniture
The furniture I build reflects my appreciation for Shaker and Arts & Crafts furniture. I have been especially influenced by the work of James Krenov, John Fox, and early 20th Century architects and furniture designers Charles and Henry Greene, whose Arts & Crafts designs reflect a strong Japanese influence.
Most of my furniture is relatively small in scale. I hope to invite people to get close, to touch the work, to observe the details. Small tables and cabinets are my favorite pieces to build.
